Job Description
The main objective of Blast Radius IT / Services team is to provide top notch support service to all Blast Radius employees. The Systems Administrator primarily provides first level IT supports to the European offices, including Amsterdam and London, but will also participate on a global team with colleagues located in Toronto and Vancouver. All staff support related requests are submitted electronically through a ticketing system and the service desk team acts as the liaison between staff and the rest of the IT & Office Services team.
Skills

• Along with the global IT/Services team, provide excellent and timely IT service to all Blast Radius employees, including both local and remote support.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software in a multi-operating system environment, including Windows and Mac.
• Hardware system builds and software installations.
• Telephone and mobility troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong commitment to documentation (both in externally facing support tickets and internal team documentation).
• New employee orientation and training in person and over the phone
• Manage 3rd party vendor relationships as required.
• Participate in regular global team calls, some scheduled during North American business hours.
• On-call 24/7 emergency support.

• Perform special projects/duties as needed.

What does it take to be successful in this role:

• Relevant diploma and/or certification such as A+, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a technical support capacity, managing more than 75 users in a multi-OS and fast-paced environment.
• Extensive experience providing superlative desktop support.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Eager to learn and ability to seek out answers and escalate when necessary.
• Able to work odd hours when faced with emergencies.
• Fluent in English and Dutch

• Experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment is key
