As part of our IT team (7 people), you will provide support for the computer-related needs of our Venlo manufacturing site from both a print-production and an IT infrastructure and system administrative perspective. For the IT operations department of the manufacturing site in Venlo (Netherlands) we are recruiting a:

Systems Administrator

The challenge:
• Support all pre-press technologies, including file conversion, transfer, scheduling, ganging, ripping, etc. with 3rd party and Vistaprint proprietary software and hardware technologies.
• Adhere to all the documented processes, procedures and standard operating directives.
• Install, maintain, upgrade and support all computer technologies in the facility including production manufacturing and desktop environments.
• Support 3rd party applications (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.).
• Maintain Active Directory, Exchange and Print server technologies.
• Document and maintain all processes, procedures and standard operating directives.
• Provide email and telephonic technical support as required.

Who are you?
• MBO/HBO level, minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of desktop and server support for Microsoft operating systems and applications, hardware installation and troubleshooting, TCP/IP and basic network concepts, and printing technologies (Laser, Thermal, Inkjet, etc.) is required.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of routers, switches, and networking technology.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English and Dutch. Strong focus on the customer.
• Flexible to changing work hours depending on business needs, on call support.
