Information Systems Coordinator (Africa, Europe and Middle East)

Salary: 31,000 – 39,000 Euros gross per year, dependent upon experience

The International Baccalaureate is a not-for profit foundation, which offers four high quality and

programmes have gained a reputation for their high academic standards, for preparing students for
life in a globalised 21st century, and for helping to develop the citizens who will create a better, more
peaceful world. Founded in 1968, currently there are close to 1 million IB students at 3,450 schools in
143 countries across the world.

In the framework of the position you will coordinate and facilitate the implementation and update
of information systems that support the operations of the regional office team to ensure systems
capture accurate and reliable data which results in improved school services and efficient use of staff
time. The post holder will facilitate process improvements and communication across regional office
teams. This is a key post supporting the School Services Operations Manager with the innovation and
implementation of consistent aligned and more efficient IT tools .

Main requirements
• Professional expertise and experience in the use, development and implementation efficient ICT
tools, web CRM especially of SalesForce customised to the nature of the operations and service;
• Experience in project management;
• Experience of service management;
• Ability to design processes and systems in a way that is efficient and effective;
• Ability to provide training and motivate teams to use new systems;
• Ability to prioritize;
• Excellent interpersonal skills in various contexts;
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing conditions;
• Ability to work independently but willing to communicate and keep close to the team;
• Stakeholder-focused;
• High sense of responsibility and commitment;
• Experience in multi-lingual and multi cultural environment;
• Excellent spoken and written English, knowledge of Spanish and/or French a plus;
• Valid residence and work permit for The Netherlands (if required).

Start date: 1st January 2013

Location: The post will be based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
