Voor onze opdrachtgever zijn wij op zoek naar een ITSM Consultant (referentie 201023103)

Function Description
The provision of advice, assistance, and leadership in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance or effective use of SAP and its environment. The type of consultancy can deal with one specific aspect of IS, or it can be wide ranging and address many aspects, or it can be of a strategic nature.

Mandatory Tasks

  • Carries out assignments alone, or leads a small team of consultants.
  • Assumes responsibility and authority for decision making within own area of expertise that will have a significant medium to long term effect on the client organization.
  • Works effectively with client staff, securing their involvement, confidence, and co-operation in executing assignments, generating their buy-in and ownership of the work performed.
  • Has sufficient overview knowledge to understand the relevance and relative importance of own specialist area and other areas.
  • Contributes fully to multi-specialist teams.
  • Plans and organizes the work of a small group of consultants on an assignment.
  • Demonstrates management and leadership of the group.

Optional Tasks

  • Undertakes assignments outside own area of expertise.
  • Forms a view as to how assignments can be carried out.
  • Plans, monitors and controls activities as necessary.
  • Carries out research to assimilate necessary knowledge.
  • Seeks and obtains relevant expertise as appropriate.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Service Management experience ITIL
  • experts in Incident, Change, Request and other ITIL Processes Experience with having implemented ITSM processes in operational environments
  • Knowledge and experience with HP’s Operational Tool suite (Service Manager, Asset Centre, DW, etc) Ability to produce Mgmt reporting of operational performance
  • Experience with creating CSL’s and KM’s tied to business processes
  • Experience in developing documentation and delivering training to staff
  • Ability to work across multiple timezones and regions.
  • Demonstrates high standards of professional behavior in dealings with clients, colleagues and staff.
  • Demonstrates the ability to take significant responsibility and shows skill in the management of change.
  • Has gained a reputation, possibly within a professional arena or industry sector, for competence and stature within own area of expertise.
  • Possesses a thorough and wide knowledge and experience of business and commercial practice in the sectors in which work is undertaken.
