Voor onze opdrachtgever zijn wij op zoek naar een Technical Architect VMware Vpshere (Referentie 102TAV)

Job description
The objective is create a virtualization design based on gathered requirements

Duties

Collect business & technical requirements;
Analyse business & technical requirements;
Translate requirements to architecture deliverables;
Create a detailed design based on requirements (DLD);
Assist in the creation of related doucuments like Operational Security Guidelines;
Create document deliverables (manuals, guidelines, operational procedures, etc);
Develop and build an Test, Acceptance, Production area;
Assist the application migration team to develop test plans, acceptance criteria etc

Knowledge and Skills

General infrastructure / hardware knowledge;
Technical expertise & experience in designing;
In depth practical knowledge and experience of VMWare Vsphere including features like VCenter, VMOTION, Storage VMOTION, HA, DRS, FT, Update manager, Host profiles, Capacity manager IQ, Cisco Nexus 1000v Netapp Metrocluster;
HP Bladeserver infrastructure.

Competencies

Can work independently within a project;
Can manage his/her own tasks and time effectively and deliver within agreed timelines;
Strong multi-tasking skills with capability to adapt to rapidly changing environments;
Minimal 6 year experience in IT;
Pro-active communicator;
Experience in global projects;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
