Service2Media is one of the leading European companies in providing mobile services for A-brands. The experience we have gained in our 5 years history has been invested in our mobile application development platform, called M2Active.

 

Key value of this platform is the support for full life cycle of a mobile service combined with the support of all mobile platforms supported from a single source code.

 

The challenge of our M2Active platform is to keep up to par with all new mobile platform technologies, like Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry, MeeGo, etc. Service2Media is also a strong believer that software and hardware belongs together to provide the right performance, therefore Service2Media host all developed mobile services on her own high performance and high available Telco class infrastructure.

Service2Media is not in the game industry, but graphics are an essential element in our development process to create an easy to use graphical user interface.

 

Purpose:

Together with a team of talented and experienced Software developers, you will work on the development of the Service2Media M2Active platform, which supports all modern mobile platform technologies. Depending on your experience and knowledge, you will assume the role of Senior Software Developer on a specific platform or on a higher platform level. 

Through your experience, talent and interest, you are aware of all major developments of the latest relevant technologies in the mobile space and are capable of quickly mastering new technologies. 

 

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

-          Designing and developing components for the M2Active platform in the R&D team.

-          Developing new M2Active runtimes to support new mobile App platforms

-          Supporting and maintaining the existing and new M2Active runtimes

-          Supporting the test department during test specification phase and analyzing the bug-tickets received after testing.

-          Delivering high quality software, on time.

-          Participating in internal teams to drive and improve methodology, processes and tools

 

 

Required Qualifications/skills:

-          Have a BSc or MSc degree in computer science or a related subject

-          Speaks and writes English fluently

-          Knowledge of mobile platforms are an advantage

-          Knowledge of Version Control Systems (svn, git etc.)

-          Knowledge of Object Oriented principles (MVC)

-          Knowledge of Java/C++/Objective-C

-          Affinity with Open Source

-          Affinity with mobile and internet

-          At least 5 years experience

-          Team Player
