*Looking for a broad ICT helpdesk job in a dynamic international company? *
We are an international and dynamic sales and service centre, in need for a skilled ICT Support Officer. If you are technical, driven and communicative, and have knowledge of working with IT and Telecom infrastructures? Then we’ve got the job for you!
*What are we looking for? *
We are searching for an ICT Support Officer who will be responsible for the continuity of the IT and Telecom infrastructure. In his/her role, the support employee is giving first and second line ICT support on the IT infrastructure, both hardware and software, and, by troubleshooting incidents, also on the Telecom structure. The ICT Support Officer also participates, operational and as knowledge expert, in ICT related projects.
*Main responsibilities *
_Operations _
• Notifies to technical or telecom architecture groups possible capacity or configuration problems.
• Keeps operations documentation up to date.
• Ensures that all requested changes are completed on time if possible.
• Ensures that all requestors are notified of problem resolution results.
• Acts upon feedback from operations of completed changes or other information to the ICT support group.
• Maintains all operations documentation effected by changes.
• Mentors and supports Junior ICT Support Officers; advises them on problem solutions.
• Checks and reviews (as a peer) daily output of Junior ICT Support Officers.
_Incident Handling _
• Quality assure all problem fixes by testing and verification of fixes or changes.
• Maintains and administers the incident database within our organization, updating the Clientele database with all received calls and documents all related activities within Clientele.
• Notifies clients when incidents are rectified and updates the Clientele database accordingly.
_Projects _
• Participates in projects by completing project tasks on time and in line with the critical path of the milestones within the project.
• Suggests and attends possible training relating to implemented systems.
• Ensures that all documentation and escalations are in place to facilitate effective ongoing supports.

• Polytechnic think and work level (MBO / HBO).
• 1-2 years of experience as first line ICT specialist.
• Understanding of working in an ICT department in a commercial and service oriented environment. Experience with customer contact applications and technology.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch (written and spoken)
• Sound knowledge and experience in:
– Windows 2008 network, Windows XP/Win 7 workstation.
